About Sue

COMMUNITY   Former owner of  a Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) company that provided HTM services to over 130 organizations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Dakotas. Sue is now a licensed real estate agent in Minnesota and Wisconsin, guiding homeowners, buyers, and investors through the entire transaction.

COLLABORATION   Develops strong business relationships that drive results for both clients and her companies.  Fiscal responsibilities have included development of policy, budgets, financial forecasts, operational analysis and asset management.

INTEGRITY   Sue has earned a solid reputation as a trusted advisor and partner in delivering solutions and services.

Sue Finney is a Roseville resident, a business owner, and a real estate professional, licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin.  Her 30 years in healthcare technology included 15 years as the founder and principal of an HTM startup.


Sue earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Management and her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University.


Sue has been married to Paul for 27 years.  They have two adult daughters, two grandchildren, and a hunting Labrador. When time permits, she enjoys spending time at the cabin with family and friends, hunting, fishing, and all seasons of outdoor activities.


Sue is a committed volunteer across the community and industry:

  • Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), helping local residents with business startup plans.

  • North Central Biomedical Association, as Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary.

  • Association for Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, member

  • Technology Management Council, committee member

  • Minnesota Hospital Association, associate member

  • Minnesota Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, associate member

  • Board member and treasurer at her church

  • North Central Biomedical Association: “Struthers Award of Excellence”

  • University of Minnesota Hospital & Clinics: “Distinguished Service Award”

2020 PCR - Political Contribution Refund

The State of Minnesota has the Political Contribution Refund Program.  Donations up to $50/person or $100/married couple may quality for a full refund from the State of Minnesota.

The Campaign Committee will send you a receipt and PCR form in the mail. (This may take a few days)


Fill out the PCR Form, attach to the receipt, and send to the MN Dept of Revenue


Your refund will be direct deposited into your bank account in approx. 3-4 weeks

Contributions or gifts to "Sue Finney 4  Mn House" are not tax deductible. The contribution limit for 2019 thru 2020 is $1,000 per individual and $2,000 per couple.  Minnesota Election Law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per calendar year.
